Boarding schools in Scotland are delighted to welcome students, their families and overseas agents for visits during term time. They all offer personal tours, by appointment, and many also hold annual Open Days.
Open Days usually include a talk by the Head Teacher that gives an overview of the school, followed by tours of the departments where displays and activities are organised. Visitors particularly enjoy being shown around by student guides which allows them to hear what the school is like from a student’s perspective.
Open days are held throughout the school year, although most commonly in May, September, October and November. Dates can be found on each school’s own page of this web portal.
